This was a test for a printing publication design using the text made by Lusa and published by TSF

Since the text focused on the feats achieved by the city of Lisbon I decided to make an illustration with the famous tram, an image recognized easily recognized by many as a symbol of Lisbon.

The goal was to go for a minimalistic design, using fine lines and not coloring the drawing fully. The use of soft pastel colors was so not to distract the reader from the text while still maintaining the original colors that these objects use.

Regarding the composition of the title, I used contour text with a light shadow under it to keep the soft theme established by the illustration and used a symbol os an award to make it easier to visualize the theme of the article before reading.

Regarding the rest of the text, I read it fully to determine what to make bold to catch the attention of the reader, the keywords so to speak. I also made it so the citations had a detached place from the rest using splashes of ink to join the whole aesthetic together. On the second page, I used the illustration mentioned above as well as placed the original font for the article

Revisiting this work 3 years later I would definitely have taken more precautions with the word partition and hyphenation as well as paragraph entry. I can say with confidence that my recent professional work experience in the text editing world made it so I had more attention to these details
