Cleaning image for translation

This was an exercise done for the purpose of training photoshop skills for cleaning the image.

The art is from the manga "Emyia-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan" by TAa and the translation was done by leogrooo.

The difficulty of this project was maintaining the original artwork without damage while cleaning for the the English translation.

In the picture above the most difficult part were the kimono and the curtains of the temple since it has such a heavy pattern to maintain

In this image, the difficult part was placing the text over the character's hair as well as the part with the sound effects
